The Rector’s Refugee Sunday sermon set the scene for a focus on the plight of refugees in our community and the world beyond.
Almost100 people attended the Refugee Sunday Fork & Talk. Sister Jane Keogh and Mustafa Ehsan provided an inspiring complementary narrative on refugees today. The movie night was attended by about 40 people.
$3,400 were raised at the lunch and $744 raised at the movie. The Canberra Refugee Support
group will received the $744, being raised for their CRS Scholarship Program in 2018.
Thanks to the many people who helped make the events such a success and to all who attended and were so generous with their time and donations!
