Our Parish’s principal financial support comes from its parishioners. This is supplemented by fundraising activities throughout the year. This equips the Parish to provide stipends for its clergy, maintain its churches and grounds and all operational costs.
Due to COVID-19 passing the plate for collections is no longer a feature of our services. It is extremely helpful for the Parish if regular giving is made through the direct transfer system.
Parishioner Giving can be directed to BSB 702-389 a/c 05200454
Transfers for other purposes should not be made using this account. Please refer to the other accounts listed below.
Donation Boxes now in use
While the easiest way to donate to the work of the church is via electronic funds transfers (EFT) and periodic payments, cash/cheques can be dropped into the Parish donation boxes at St Paul’s and St David’s.
The boxes are accessible at all services. Donors can use the envelopes provided on the side of the box or use their own envelopes where they wish to nominate which church activity they are supporting. Loose cash / cheque donations for general church purposes can also be deposited here.
When using cheques or EFT, check that the right BSB and account number are used to ensure funds are correctly allocated.

Wills and Bequests
Generosity through wills and bequests can make a significant difference to the viability of parishes and their mission. For many of us, making a gift through our will presents an opportunity to make an exceptional gift that we could not normally afford. Whether you might consider leaving a large legacy or a smaller gift, your generosity and support for the Parish is appreciated.
Should you wish to leave a gift to the Parish through your will, the Diocese recommends the following form:
“I give and bequeath the sum of $…. (or a percentage or the residue of my estate) to The Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn for the general charitable and religious purposes of the parish of Manuka, South Canberra and the receipt of the Diocesan General Manager shall be a sufficient discharge to my executive or trustee.”
