The showing of the Ai Wei Wei film Human Flow at Palace Electric on 19th June raised $1100 from a generous and appreciative sellout audience.
The proceeds will go to Canberra Refugee Support, which has a very successful scholarship program to help students from refugee families.
A smaller but very generous gathering at St David’s on 22nd June to watch the film Hidden Figures raised close to $500 for ACT Safe Shelter, a combined churches and community program caring for the homeless.
