Starting from the NE corner of the Arboretum, we go down to the Lake, north to and along the western boundary of Black Mountain Nature Reserve, south through Aranda Bushland, under William Hovell Drive and back to the start through the Cork Oak plantation. Distance is 7km (max 3 hours) on forest roads and well-worn tracks; no heavy hill work (true). One short rough bit where sticks could be handy.
We meet at the junction of Cork Oak Road and Boundary Road in the Arboretum, where we leave the cars. Morning tea on the walk and picnic lunch at the Himalayan Cedars Lookout.
Nibbles and drink provided.
Please notify David by Thursday evening 27 April if you intend going on this walk.
