On this walk we explore places rarely visited by Canberrans, but with strong links to early European settlement in our region 200 years ago.
The route includes a part of Queanbeyan unfamiliar to most visitors. An easy 6 km loop walk, with many features of historical interest. A small section is on uneven ground. Walking sticks optional. Afterwards, morning tea/early lunch in a park setting with convenient access to facilities.
Depart at 9.30am from St Paul’s Church car park. All welcome. Please contact John Holthouse by Thurs 31 May (Mobile: 0432 543 396).
