Starting school – and each new school year – is momentous in the lives of children. To celebrate these new beginnings in 2019 we will have a Back to School Blessing for Children during our 10am Eucharist.
Children are invited to bring along or wear a school item (backpack, lunchbox, uniform etc) for this service as they begin their new year of Preschool or School. The liturgy will also include prayers for teachers and others working in schools and the education sector.
