Meet at the entrance to the Australian National Botanic Gardens at 9.30. Walk about 1 km along boundary of ANBG, or through gardens, to northern end, where we enter the Black Mountain reserve. Then steep climb of about 200 m to the summit. Return the same way, with morning tea at the ANBG cafe at about 11.30. Parking: either paid in the ANBG, or free (being the weekend) somewhere in the ANU campus nearby.
