BLUE RANGE HUT & SHERWOOD – History and perhaps Daffodils. This is a moderate walk with a manageable slope mainly on fire track.
Blue Range Hut was used as a internment camp WW2, and Sherwood c. 1863 was settled by Henry & Eliza Phillips and we might see many daffodils here in spring attire.
Please carry usual walk needs, including a stick and lunch to enjoy at Sherwood.
Facilities @ Stromlo Forest Bike Park & Blue Range Hut.
Your leaders are Mike & Margaret Roach and Peter Parsons. Kindly register no later than midday 25th September with Mike & Margaret 6281 6096 or email@example.com.
Please meet at Stromlo Forest Bike Park for 10.00 a.m. departure to drive 23.3 km on mainly sealed road to the trackhead.
Coffee/Tea after on return @ Denman Prospect.
Please search online Blue Range Hut and Sherwood and your “homework” project will be completed!!
