Walking Group – rescheduled walk now 26 September

Saturday 21st September walk has been rescheduled due to weather conditions. All arrangements will be the same but now for Thursday 26th September.

BLUE RANGE HUT & SHERWOOD – History and perhaps Daffodils. This is a moderate walk with a manageable slope mainly on fire track.
Blue Range Hut was used as a internment camp WW2, and Sherwood c. 1863 was settled by Henry & Eliza Phillips and we might see many daffodils here in spring attire.

Please carry usual walk needs, including a stick and lunch to enjoy at Sherwood.
Facilities @ Stromlo Forest Bike Park & Blue Range Hut.

Your leaders are Mike & Margaret Roach and Peter Parsons. Kindly register no later than midday 25th September with Mike & Margaret 6281 6096 or mrroach.16@bigpond.com.

Please meet at Stromlo Forest Bike Park for 10.00 a.m. departure to drive 23.3 km on mainly sealed road to the trackhead.

Coffee/Tea after on return @ Denman Prospect.

Please search online Blue Range Hut and Sherwood and your “homework” project will be completed!!
