ACCC Quiet Day

The Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture invites parishioners to the last Quiet Day of the year called Advent Greening: enjoying the colours of Advent with Hildegard of Bingen and Mechthild of Magdeburg.

Cost $25 pp (cash on arrival) includes morning tea; BYO lunch. The day will be led by the highly regarded spiritual director and former ACU lecturer Kerrie Hide.

Order of St Luke

Order of St Luke (OSL) will meet this Tuesday 8th August 2pm to 3pm in the Mollison Room
for biblical reflection, prayers for healing and if requested anointing.

Theologian Heather Thomson will lead a day of reflection on Our heart is restless….St Augustine’s journey and ours — drawing on Augustine’s tumultuous search for pleasure, beauty and lasting joy.

World Day of Prayer

This year be held at the Uniting Church, Yarralumla on Friday 3rd March at 11am. The service has been prepared by the women of the Philippines.

Come and join with us to celebrate this special day. There will be a light lunch will be after the service. Contribution $6.

OSL Healing Ministries

Order of St Luke Healing Ministries (OSL)

The final meeting for the year will be held in the Mollison Room on Tuesday 13th December at 2pm. Bible reflection and prayers for healing and the opportunity for anyone who would like anointing and laying on of hands. All welcome to attend.

World Community Day

Australian Church Women Inc. World Community Day will be held at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Forrest at 11am on 28th October. Please join us on this special day. A light luncheon will follow the service.

MU – Quiet Day

MU Australia (part of the World Wide Mothers’ Union) will hold a Quiet Day, beginning with morning tea at 10am. Morning tea will be provided but please bring your own lunch. Following a liturgy, a day of meditation and reflection, lead by the Rev’d Joan Smith, Chaplain to MU C&G, will finish at about 3.15pm.
