Musical or choral events across the Parish and Diocese

RSCM Organ Recital

Chris Erskine and James Porteous will be presenting a recital called The Two Organs of St Paul’s.

James will do two large works on the main organ and Chris will explore the new sanctuary organ showing some of the things it can do. Come along and support two of our excellent organists.

Choral Evensong

St Paul’s Choir will sing Choral Evensong at St Paul’s. We will welcome the Canberra members of St John Ambulance Australia to this service. Music will include canticles by Morley and the anthem will be A Clare Blessing by John Rutter.

Igitur Nos Chamber Choir

Igitur Nos Chamber Choir, directed by Matthew Stuckings, will present Thomas Tallis’s sublime 40-part motet Spem in Alium in a short concert of Tallis’s music.

The performance is free, but a note donation would be welcome.

The programme will be repeated at the National Portrait Gallery on the same day at 2pm.
